I liked playing it on crazily long hard maps like a rpg. Having heroes as a physical unit on the battlefield was awesome, it opened up so many more tactics. I loved running round with a group of 5 heroes. If you avoided buying it and skipped to five because of these idiots you should buy it now.Įnd message.Agreed, indeed, homm 4 was the best of the series, 5 is horrible in comparision. Sorry to get on my soapbox but HoMM IV is the best in the series and unfairly maligned by halfwits.
